Malaysia — Faculty of Medicine Universitas Diponegoro, through its Department of Nursing, sent two faculty delegates, Ns. Sri Padma Sari, S.Kep., MNS, Ph.D., and Ns. Marsha Yoke Nancy, S.Kep., M.N.Sc., to participate in the International Collaboration with Top 500 QS WUR Universities program in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia from May 11–18, 2026, in Malaysia.
This activity was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international networking and enhance academic collaboration between the two institutions in the areas of education, research, scientific publication, and academic resource development.
The program began with an institutional introduction session and discussions on potential collaboration between the Department of Nursing at UNDIP and the Nursing Program at the School of Health Sciences, USM. The delegation also observed academic facilities and clinical laboratories and attended presentations on research activities and scientific publications by faculty members and students at USM.
In addition, the UNDIP delegation delivered a guest lecture entitled “How to Publish in Nurse Media Journal of Nursing”, attended by postgraduate students and lecturers at the School of Health Sciences, USM. The session served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and academic experiences, particularly in the field of international scientific publication.
The delegation also participated in discussion sessions and shared activities related to opportunities for collaborative research, undergraduate and postgraduate student exchange programs, and future plans for continued international collaboration.
As one of the program’s outcomes, both institutions discussed and finalized a draft Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to serve as a foundation for sustainable collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, UNDIP, and the School of Health Sciences, USM. This collaboration is expected to support improvements in the quality of higher education, expand international networks, and strengthen UNDIP’s contribution to internationally reputable research and scientific publications. *nr
